This service is exactly what it sounds like.. Have a pedal in mind? Searching to have a familiar circuit, but a boutique-y feel to your board? Want a certain orange, green or blue box, but want to have a dark and mysterious vibe about your board? Look no further than Nigh Effectsworks!

To keep costs affordable, we source a ready to populate PCB that is close to the effect your looking for. We work with partners who are O.K. with third party builders using their PCBs to build pedals. We buy the PCB, the components, make our enclosure and build the pedal for you.

This is a fun way to get a circuit you love or you’re familiar with and have a cool/unique enclosure instead of the same boring thing everyone else has.

This is entirely different from how we build our normal pedals. We make our own PCBs for our regular pedals.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We cannot accept returns on one off builds unless the pedal arrives damaged or defective. In a perfect world we would aim to repair a defective pedal.

  • One Off Builds will take 2-4 weeks depending on part availability. Everything for One Off Builds is ordered when confirming specs and artwork. Our normal in-stock pedals are build in runs of 30-60 so all the parts are ordered at once and kept in regular stock. One Off Builds have the propensity to require weird capacitors, transistors, from multiple suppliers.

  • I have no brick & mortar store, however if you’re in the NJ area I don’t mind meeting up with you to show you some pedals.
